hi, when i brake hard the front diff clicks under pressure what could be the cause of this? how do i solve this? thanks in advance

either the gears in the diff itself are worn or the main gear inside the diff needs shimming across to mesh it correctly with the small pinion gear..if the gap is too large  it will do as you describe.

dont know if im in the right bit but hey will try here goes!!!

my rear diff seems to come loose easily after tightening it seems to only be 2wd not and it seems to wheel spin and rev up but not go as fast its all most like u hear a turning but yet no acceleration from the rear any ideas

i would take it apart and see what's worn, expect to see some debris in the diff casing as it comes apart, at least then you know the problem is wear. does the rear driveshaft from the centre diff still rotate as quick as the front one does? if so then the rear diff is caput. should the rear shaft be turning at a lower speed than the front one, then the centre diff is suspect!
