Hi all,

Hope someone can assist me.  I have a Hyperdrive Belt Drive system that was originally fitted to my Cougar (Mk1 version), and need to find out what was in the original kit.

I have Spurs, pinions and belts, but can't remember if there was anything else needed (modified layshaft etc) in order to fit it to the Cougar (has been 10yrs or so since last used)

any help appreciated, or even if the Hyperdrvie system is still made

regards

Ogbyte

I don't ever remember seeing one, but i think TOP models were involved in it somehow. It wasn't fitted to the cougar as std, fairly sure of that.

Don't think it ever took off.

Hi MattW,

Corect, not standard fitting to the Cougar, and IIRC TOP models is were I purchased it from thinking about it know.

Yep, it didn't really take off, but it certainly worked well with modified motors

cheers all
