I'm thinking I might have 2 buy a mardave diff as Schumacher still haven't released there's, shame I might have to buy a rival makes parts to finish their car

I was hoping to get one soon too. Always having problems with the Mardave version, the axles bend really easily Ouch and the hubs get jammed up and almost impossible to remove... And although the mardave one does fit, i'd rather wait and have the Schumacher.

Any updates on when?

Hi guys,

Hold the phone!!!!!!!

As I understand from a chat I had with someone from Schumacher last week, the parts are all now approved and they are just waiting the final production parts to come in / finish in production and assembly.

It was suggested it was around 2 weeks away last week so I would hope it would be available within the next 5-7 days. I am waiting too....!!

From what I have seen of the diff, its certainly worth waiting for it felt smooth and.......its purple!Big smile
The mardave diff isnt purple!!!Cry

Thanks

Just seen the diff on the RC Car Action forum.  Looks very nicely made.

The major advantage will be that the drive-side stub axle is locked to the drive hub body, so the axle will not spin relative to the drive side wheel.  That's a huge weakness in the Mardave design that Schumacher have rightly corrected.

Mine was delivered this morning. It's awesome compared to the mardave diff.
Big thumbs up from me :)

It does look great, to be fair to Mardave though their diff is pretty much half the price.  You appear to get what you pay for.

Got mine yesterday, there is no comparison between the build quality of schumacher diff and the mardave diff, the only downer is that it comes with a 36dp spur gear changed the spur to a 48dp and used it last night and it has transformed the supastox into an awesome circuit car.

Don't waste money buying the cheap mardave diff because if you upgrade the plastic out drive to alloy out drive it works out more expensive than the schumacher diff
