Now that the BRCA have an up to date approved motor list for the
13.5 class, will you be strictly enforcing it?
Last year I ran a Novak Ballistic and would like to again this year but
it's not on the list

details taken from centralbooking:

Classes;
Stock – 13.5BL or higher (As per BRCA)
Pro Stock – 10.5BL (As per BRCA)
Modified – (As per BRCA)

All other rules as per BRCA, including weight limit for all classes of 1350g

So it looks that way

Hi have been on the moto-arena website and notice there is a buggy meeting being held on the 2nd april. does this mean that the first round of the BTCC is sunday only ?.. If this is so then needs to be put on the website for those travelling a distance expecting to practice on sat!!

This sounds like a big issue as i've never run at moto arena and would like some practise and car setup before actually racing there.

Can anyone see if the Trinity Duo2 13.5 will be allowed at all as the BRCA list isnt working ?

Also, will the BTCC allow full timing in 13.5 ?

cheers

I see on another forum that when the STCC visits Moto Arena they
will have to pay the standard £10 fee to practise on Saturday. Will this
also be the case for those of us doing the BTCC. If so I will have to
seriously reconsider my entry for the Moto Arena round.

Could anyone clarify for me if the BTCC would be strict in regards to motors ? Query is that the Trinity Duo2 WAS on the BRCA motor list up till this year, as such it is in essence a legal motor still in regards its spec. Would the BTCC allow its use given it was legal, or would they be really stringent on this and only go with what is on the list ? It would meen I could save over £160 in having to buy new motors when i have no need to

I asked very much the same question in the 3rd post of this thread
and am still waiting for an official reply…

You sure that's been on the list John ;)

13.5 list is an odd one. As there hasn't been a BRCA series
that uses it, so many manufactures and importers don't
submit them (and have to cough up). If clubmans uses
13.5, then there may well be more get submitted.

Might be worth sending a direct email to ask the question?

honestly thought it had been Matt but can't track down if that info was right. It may even have been the mod version of the motor i saw perhaps.

good news is i have found someone in the UK with D3's though

Now just need the BTCC guys to let us know what they are doing with 13.5, or if they plan to wait for the outcome of the BRCA decision ?
