Coming along slowly now..... Need to do some more measuring!
 
I still can't get the top plate to sit correctly on the inner transmission housing.
 
Pro cat is coming along too...
 
 
Got to measure the rear wishbones, the rear hub carrier has been modelled by guesswork and pictures from the manual.

Is this the chassis that was on ebay a couple of weeks ago?
 
If so there was a discussion about it on RC10Talk at the time, i think most believed it wasn't new..  Saying that it did look in very nice condition with only a few light scratches, and of course the holes.

Hi all,
Just a quick one, just picked up some new purple goodness.
I thought when I was looking at the pictures when considering buying it I could see three unusual holes drilled in it, I bought it anyway and sure enough it does have holes I have never seen before. The thing is, it looks like it came from the factory like it...ie the anodising is even down the holes. The holes are located just behind the steering lever drillings but don't seem to be spaced to accept a servo, and they are not countersunk.Any one had this before? Can't post pictures but I can send via picture message if anyone thinks they can help.

seems to be hard to find an original CAT XLS and ProCat bumper on these days.
I will be happy to get a re-made bumper, is somebody selling a re-made bumper?

How hot is the weather over there? 35wt oil is very light, in the uk we generally use 45wt to 50wt or now 400wt to 500wt in the core range depending on the track. Although when we went to TITC in thailand we used 70wt due to the high ambient temperature. So try thicker oil. Springs seem OK, only CF front arm? Better with CF front and rear arms, much more consistant through the turn.
 
A larger hole in the wheel will help with keeping tyre temperature down as it allows the insert to breath, although be careful if its a control tyre.
